First stop was Walgreens,

10 100 count Splenda singles each on sale for 2.99.

Used 10 $3 off 1 coupons

2 packges freeze pops each on sale for .59

3 bottles of Diet Pepsi

1 bottle Diet Dr Pepper. one sale for $1.00 each

Used a Buy 3 pepsi save $1.00 on Dr Pepper

1 loaf of wheat bread.

Had a $4 register rewards from prior visit and used that.

final balance $3.23

Next stop Krogers

10 lunchables on sale for $1.00 each

Used 10 .55 off 1 coupons( they double to 1.00 !)

20 Ivory Body wash on sale for $1.00 each

Used 20 $1.00 off 1 coupons

20 voskos greek yogurt on sale for $1.00 each

Used 20 coupons for $1.00 of 1

Big pkg of hotdogs marked down to 1.89

2 pkgs of salad on sale for $1.00 each

total due after all coupons $5.14.

Small shop at Walgreens today !

Ok , Just got back from Walgreens...

First order was 3 80 count boxes of splenda singles 2.99 each.

2 m&ms easter eggs .99 each.

I used 3 coupons for $3 off each splenda.

and 1 coupon good for $1 off two m&ms.

I paid 1.00 for everything and recieved a register reward coupon for $4.00 off my next purchase.

Second order

3 boxes of splenda and 1 koolaid singles.

after cpoupons cost me 1.00. and i recieved another $4 register reward for next purchase.

Third order

2 nivea for men bodywas and 2 nivea for women body wash at 3.89 each and two small packs of planters peanuts.

I used my 4 Nivea $3 coupons and 1 of my register rewards for 44 and paid 1.69 tax .

Not a bad day i must say, and i still have 1 register reward coupon for my next visit.

Coupon match for today

Walgreens and Cvs here, has Splenda on sale for 2.99 . Last sundays smartsourse insert had a coupon for $3 off splenda.

Now you can get these for free but pick up a single candy bar or gum to grab the extra penny from the coupon.

Also watch for easter candy mark downs starting late saturday and use your $1 off of 2 mars m&m coupon to grab some sweet deals on discounted candy

This coupon is good on the snickers, mars and dove single cream eggs.

Always try to find the least expensive choice for your coupon to get the best value.

Couponing tips

Always remember, The item to coupon ratio is 1:1.

Say your store is offering a buy one get one free of the same item, you can use one coupon for each item.

Also if you have coupons that say buy one of this and get one of another differnet item free, you can also use a  coupon for the item you have to buy in order to get the free one.

This weekends redplum ad had a coupon for $3 off any Nivea for women body wash and a $3 coupon  for the Nivea mens body wash, Walmart has them for $3 and all you have to pay is the tax.

I bought 6 bottles and paid $1.13.

Now thats a deal.

Four coupon inserts in the Hamilton Journal.

Decided to get 5 copies.

Cost 7.50.

So far i have clipped about $400 in savings.

Am planning my next shop.

Details soon.

Krogers was having a buy 4 General Mills products recieve a $5 Krogers gift card.

First order,

5 maruchan noodles,

4 fiber One cereal bars,

3 suave deodorant,

2 hunts ketchup,

4 half gallons of milk,

Total $41.45

After Coupons

$8.15

And $5.00 Gift card.

Second order,

5 maruchan noodles,

4 snickers eggs,

6 skittles,

6 idahoan potatoes,

2 boxes of cherrios

1 box trix cereal,

1 box kix cereal,

Total $46.44

After $5.00 gift card and coupons,

$10.37

And Still have one $5.00 GC for next visit .

Not the best but still a great savings.

Today I am taking off from Blogging to tell you all about my daughter Jessica Lauren.

She lost her battle with Ewings Sarcoma on January 1st 2003 at the age of 15.

She will be always loved and forever missed.

She brought a smile to everyone ones face and Her sweet laugh made you heart melt.

She fought a Great fight and did it with a strength I could never muster.

Where do you find all the coupons ?

Well for starters ,

you can find coupons everywhere.

Sunday papers, magazines, tons of places on line, and of course  Ebay.

Decide a budget amount for aquiring coupons.

my budget is $25 a month.

I know it seems like alot but the money you save will be alot more then your investment.

I use

to find single item coupons in quantity.

Another site is use is

it is much cheaper to buy the inserts rather then pay for the newspapers.

For instance , Say your local sunday paper costs ,

2.00.

You can buy just the inserts from 40 cents to 60 cents each.( plus shipping)

And if there are alot of coupons you will use it is alot of savings.

Now for printables, I use Google to search for specific coupons.

Manufacturers want you to buy their products so normally there is a link somewhere to print coupons on their website.

I also use Ecoupon sites as well.

Here I have a Krogers and they always have coupons to add onto your shoppers card.

Keeping Organized

First thing to do is get your self ready to organize your coupons.

I found it was much easier to use a three ring binder and baseball card clear plastic pages.

I used dividers to seperate the sections by the month the coupons expire and use little tabs to group the coupons by page.

For example,

Cleaners

Frozen

Meats

Canned Goods

Boxed Goods,

and so on.

i always put the earliest expiration date first in the pages pockets  and work my way thru the month.
